OUR COMMITMENT

Sterling Grid Security Ltd is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. We continually work to improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards across our websites and brand pages.

This statement was last reviewed on 2 August 2026.

MEASURES WE TAKE

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. The measures below are built into our websites themselves, rather than added on top of them:

  • Descriptive names for controls. Buttons and links that use an icon alone — such as the basket and search controls — carry text labels that screen readers announce.
  • Labelled form fields. Enquiry and contact form fields are programmatically associated with their visible labels, so both assistive technology and browser autofill read them correctly.
  • Logical heading structure. Headings follow a sequential order, so screen-reader users can navigate a page by its structure.
  • Text contrast. Body and label text is measured against the WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios and adjusted where it falls short.
  • Stable page layout. Images carry fixed dimensions so content does not shift under the reader as a page loads.
  • Regular automated auditing. We run automated accessibility audits across our page templates and correct the issues they surface.

We also provide an accessibility toolbar offering contrast, text-sizing and navigation preferences. It is a convenience for visitors who want it — it supplements the measures above and is not a substitute for them.

KNOWN LIMITATIONS

We do not claim full conformance. Our websites are partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, which means most but not all of the standard is met.

Some components embedded from third-party providers — such as our cookie consent notice and live chat — are outside our direct control, and their accessibility depends on those providers. Where a third-party component creates a barrier we cannot fix, we will look for an accessible alternative.

If you encounter a barrier anywhere on our sites, please tell us using the details below and we will prioritise it.
