A retractable pergola takes the louvred roof a step further: the blades don't just tilt, they physically retract and stack neatly to one side, opening up to 75% of the sky above. When you want shelter again, they extend back across and close in seconds.

The Retractable is the only model in our range with a roof that physically retracts: rather than staying overhead and tilting, the louvres slide and stack neatly to one side, so you get genuinely open sky above the space when you want it, and a sealed, drained roof when you don't. It's built on a heavier-duty structure to carry that extra movement, and operates by motorised remote.
How it compares in our range
If you mainly want to angle light and shade, a louvred or bioclimatic roof may suit; if opening the roof right up matters to you, the retractable is the model to look at. Like the rest of the range it's motorised and made to measure.
